Awesome, one ingredient down! Now, what next.... Didn't they set up a pantry a while back? Think we might find flour there?

...I guess. [According to Shiho though, the meat they eat still carries malevolence and hatred...but she's a psychometer so maybe it wasn't quite the same.] I'd just prefer not seeing it happen.

[She wasn't going to stop him. She liked hearing about other people's lives.]

Do they? I have no idea but it wouldn't hurt to look, right?

Haha, that's fine! We can save meat for last and I can get that myself no problem.

[They DO find flour in the pantry!] Alright! I think this is the kind of flour he needs... [It's the only flour here, so it must be. One hopes.

In the corner of one shelf hidden behind a few objects, Sorey reaches towards the odd shape...and pulls out a carrot!]

Oh! There's carrots here too! [Bonus! He turns the small bundle over in his hands, inspecting them.] Hm...they seem edible to me. What do you think?

Well, if you're sure. I can hold everything while you do that.

[They have flour!] There are different kinds of flour? [But well. They don't have much of a choice, do they?]

Even the grey food that tastes like ash is edible. [She's eaten so much of it...ugh.] But looks like we've hit the jackpot! So all that's left is the meat, right?

[He nods.] Mhmm, apparently. Though I'm not really familiar with all the different kinds or what each one is used for specifically. But supposedly there's a kind you use for bread and a kind used for pastries. I'm not sure which kind this is. [Not that it mattered. Akira never specified, so as far as they're concerned, flour is flour.]

You have a point... [He makes a face at the mention of the ash food. He, too, has eaten more of it than he'd like to eat. Ever.

He hums as he looks over their gathered ingredients so far.]

Almost. There's still butter, oil and spices....though, butter comes from milk and I don't think anyone's found anything domesticated or docile enough to provide us with some.... [Or at least, he hasn't seen anything on the forum about it.]

Hm... [She taps her chin with one finger.] Do we need butter and oil? Aren't they basically the same thing in the end?

[Obviously they taste different, but...] If we find oil, maybe we don't need to find the butter? [Pause.] Do you think there's any oil in one of the supply depots?

True. I'm not sure if it's important to have both for curry or not, but....hm...

[He frowns in thought.]

Maybe? We could go check. It'd have to be cooking oil, though, I think. [A pause and a small, somewhat awkward laugh.] Or olive oil.

Olive oil? Do we have something so fancy here?

[How is curry made, exactly? What was the flour and the butter even used for? She honestly had no clue. If only she could ask Minamoto.]

Well, I remember there's another one not too far from here. Let's go take a look.

[Do they find oil in that other depot? Yes. Yes they do. Though it was hidden behind a whole bunch of stuff and it seemed to be the very last one.]

...I can't believe there actually is olive oil.

[He's just as surprised, honestly.]

And the last bottle of it too... [At least in this depot.]

Well, now we just have the meat and the spices. I've seen those spiderdeer things hanging around near the edge of the forest. If I don't go in too far, it ought to be safe...

Shall we go?

[She nods.] Let's go! [And she'll just...take all the other ingredients they've collected because being a psychokinetic means she doesn't have to worry about finding a basket or anything to hold everything in.

And they're off to the edge of the forest! Hopefully nothing with go wrong. She's going to have a look around once he's off doing his hunting thing and...oh, hello there. What's that?

Peppers? But didn't they lose their colour? But these look different from the ones before...she reaches out with her powers and pulls one off. Hm. It doesn't just look different it even--]

...it smells spicy?

[He pauses on the way to the forest when she does, coming back to inspect the odd colored item.]

Yeah, it does a bit....is it a pepper? It may not be a normal kind of spice, but....if it has color it could be used as one?

Wait here, I'll be right back.

[And so he goes into the woods, though not too far into it. It takes a few minutes of careful tracking, but he finally finds a spiderdeer. Though it may look really weird, hunting it's no different to him than hunting prickleboars back home, so he makes quick work of it. Kaoru may hear some of the animal's noises, and then he's emerging again from the forest, deer over shoulder.]

Got him. Probably not a good idea to take the meat over there like this, though. We should be close to Flavo, though, so we can swing by where I live and I can finish prepping the meat there. You want any?

[Since one deer has more than enough meat for several people.]

I guess so! And it'll make the curry spicy too! [Though she has no idea how spicy this thing is.

She waits and while she does she's just...absentmindedly juggling the ingredients they'd found in the air. (All the while listening in case it sounded like anything had gone wrong.) She stops only when he comes back out though all the ingredients stay floating where they'd last been right before shes stopped.]

Yeah! If there's any extra that'd be great! [She can't cook but she is trying to learn and Shiho does like meat.

And with that Team Wishmaker has gathered all the ingredients they needed!]

[He totally noticed the little juggling act but decides not to comment on it, instead smiling and nodding in response.]

Sure thing! I have to go to Akira's house to give him the ingredients anyway, so I can stop by your place on the way and give you any extra.
